Today, we welcomed Koko (and Mrs. Nicki) back from Rwanda and looked at pictures of their adventures.
We learned that Jesus loves all the children of the world… and that all means ALL
~ red, brown, yellow, black and white-all are precious in His sight. We sang accordingly.
We talked about “bad people” vs. “bad choices”, how to apologize when we’ve made a bad choice and make a better choice next time.
We colored a card for Father’s Day and made Adventure Binoculars for looking at the wonderful world God created, especially animals!
Everyone named an animal they’d like to be or see then we headed outside for a look around.
We promptly spotted a little froglet.
We made her hasty habitat as comfortable as a Starbucks cup can be.
~~
ME (tying a knot in binocular strings, talking to a child at the same time): “Give me just a second to finish tying this up pretty and I’ll help you with that…”
JORDAN (not looking up from his own work and not missing a beat): “You mean handsome?”
